70% Cashmere/30% Silk – Nepal

Hand-spun cashmere from the innermost layer of Tibetan and Mongolian cashmere goats. Woven on a silk web, on large traditional Nepalese handlooms at a local workshop in Kathmandu. Our aim is to preserve and support the traditional craftsmanship of Nepalese society. They make everything in the traditional way and finish each product by hand to minimize waste. Our hand-woven products are individual works of art 'signed' with the personal characteristics of the Nepalese men and women who made them.
