The Danish-designed sunglasses are handmade from fully plant-based material, recycled hinges and recycled packaging.

The sunglasses are made of 100% biodegradable acetate from Mazzucchelli in Italy. The hinges are from OBE with a special rubber coating that makes the friction and lifespan perfect. They are made from 60% recycled metal chips from old hinges. The sunglasses are polyamide (PA) with an anti-reflective coating and a special UV filter with protection up to 400 nm and index 1.5.
The packaging is made from recycled leather and the white cloth is made from old plastic bottles .
Lens category 2 & 3: The sunglasses provide a medium (gradient brown) and high (all other colors) level of glare reduction and UV protection.
(The fully plant-based acetate Mazzucchelli M49 combines cellulose acetate and a plasticizer from natural resources. Cellulose is a structural protein in plants, and the other components are derived from cotton seeds and wood fibers - making it 100% biodegradable. 90% of the material is converted to natural gases after only 115 days.The remaining proportion is converted to water and biomass)
